About PriceWired – Helping You Find Laptops & Compare Laptop Specifications


Who are we?

We are software engineers based in Alpharetta, GA, who built PriceWired as a side project while working full-time in the corporate world. The idea came from our own frustration - as engineers, we wanted to find laptops with the exact specs we cared about — and we wanted to buy them from trusted local retailers like Dell, Walmart, or Best Buy.

Why we built PriceWired?

PriceWired was born out of simple need: an easier way to find laptops from trusted retailers like Dell, Walmart, and Best Buy in one place. Before PriceWired, to search across multiple retailers, we had to run a search on each of them, take notes of the model numbers, their specs, and then make a decision! We think there is a better and more efficient way to shop for laptops in the 21st century. That need inspired us to build PriceWired

Other shopping sites like Google Shopping, Shopping.com, or Shopzilla try to help, but we found two big problems:

  • They often list products from retailers we don’t know or trust for a major laptop purchase.
  • Many deliver poor results — type in “laptops” and you might get headphones.

What we wanted was simple:

  • A reliable way to find laptops from top retailers you trust.
  • The ability to compare laptops by technical specifications that actually matter, like storage type (SSD vs. HDD), processor, or memory — even when some retailer sites don’t offer those filters.
  • Side-by-side comparisons of specs and prices, all in one place.
